Ronald L. Olson
Ronald L. Olson became a Director at Berkshire Hathaway in 1997. Mr. Olson is also a Board Member at Western Asset Trust and Provivi, and has been a partner at Munger, Tolles & Olsen since 1968. Prior to his current appointments, Mr. Olson served on the board at Mayo Clinic from 2004 to 2016 and the Council of Foreign Relations from 2002 to 2010 and the founding chairman of the board of trustees of Southern California Public Radio from 1999 to 2004. Mr. Olson was also a Board Member at RAND Corporation from 1994 to 2016 and American Bar Association’s Standing Committee of Federal Judiciary from 1991 to 1992. Mr. Olson is a previous Advisor at the American Law Institute and served as Vice President of the Boards at the State Bar of California from 1986 to 1987. From 1984 to 1994, Mr. Olson served on the board at Claremount University Center and Graduate School and the American Bar Association Litigation Section from 1981 to 1982, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee from 1976 to 1986.
