Samantha Hammock

Samantha L. Hammock has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer of Verizon Communication in 2021. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Hammock served as the Senior Vice President of Global talent from 2020 to 2021. Before Joining Verizon, Ms. Hammock served as the Head of Global Talent & Learning of American Express from August 2020 to December 2020 and Chief Learning Officer from 2017 to 2020 and Vice President of Leadership Strategy from 2016 to 2020 and Vice President of Global Leadership Development & Onboarding from 2014 to 2016. From 2010 to 2014, Ms. Hammock served as the Vice President of Learning and Communications at American Express and Director of Change Management from 2006 to 2010. Before Joining American Express, Ms. Hammock served as a manager at JP Morgan Vastera. Ms. Hammock served on the Board of Directors at the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Valley from 2009 to 2016.
