Shahmir Khaliq

Shahmir Khaliq has been the Global Head of Services for Citibank since September 2023 and is a Member of the Executive Management Team. Prior to his current role Khaliq worked with Citi as the Global Head, Treasury and Trade Solutions from 2021-2023, the MD, Global Head Operations and Technology, Treasury and Trade Solutions from 2020-2021, the MD, Global Head, Direct Custody and Clearing from 2017-2020, the MD, Regional Head for North America – Prime Finance, Futures and Securities Services from 2014-2018, the Managing Director from 2012-2013, the Managing Director – Regional Head Central Europe from 2010-2012, the Managing Director, Country/Cluster Head from 2006-2010; the Industry Head Oil/Gas/Metals – Corporate and Investment Bank, CEEMEA from 2004-2006, the Vice President from 2002-2003, the Regional Banking Head from 1997-2002, the Senior Banker from 1995-1997 and an Associate/Management Trainee from 1991-1993.
