Sharifa A. Anderson

Sharifa A. Anderson has served as the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Fannie Mae since 2022. Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Ms. Anderson served as the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburg from 2021 to 2022 and Senior Director from 2020 to 2021 and Director from 2017 to 2020 and Senior Attorney from 2014 to 2017.From 2013 to 2014, Ms. Anderson served as an Associate at Relman, Dane & Colfax and an Associate at Ballard Spahr from 2011 to 2013. Ms. Anderson has served on the Board of Directors at Pittsburg Arts & Lectures since 2022 and a member of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association DE&I Advisory Group since 2020. Previously, Ms. Anderson served as a Fellow at the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity from 2019 to 2020 and was a Research Analyst at Teach for America from 2009 to 2010. Ms. Anderson served as an Attorney with Legal Honors at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2010 to 2011 and was a Law Clerk at the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee in 2010 and a Mayoral Fellow for the City of Baltimore in 2010.
