Sowmyanarayan Sampath

Sowmyanarayan Sampath has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Verizon Consumer Group since March 2023. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Sampath served as the Chief Executive Officer of Verizon Business from 2022 to 2023 and Chief Revenue Officer from 2021 to 2022 and President of Global Enterprise from 2020 to 2021 and Chief Financial Officer and Group Strategy and Transformation of Media from 2018 to 2020 and Chief Product officer from 2017 to 2018 and Senior Vice President of Business Transformation from 2014 to 2017. Mr. Sampath has served on the Board of Directors at Canadian Tire Corporation and a Trustee at The Paley Center for Media since 2022. Mr. Sampath has also served as a Council Member at The Wall Street Journal and Fast Company since 2022. Mr. Sampath previously served on the Board of Directors at Tech:NYC from 2018 to 2020 and was a Partner and Managing Director and Global Sector Leader at The Boston Consulting Group from 2005 to 2014. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Sampath served as a Senior Consultant at ADVENTIS Corporation and as a Senior Consultant at KPMG from 1999 to 2001.
