Susan Patricia Griffith

Susan (Trisha) Griffith serves as a Board Member of FedEx, specially as a Member of Compensation and Human Resources and a Member of Governance, Safety, and Public Policy. She currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Progressive Corporation, a position she has held since July 2016. Prior to being named President and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Griffith served as Progressive’s Personal Lines Chief Operating Officer from April 2015 through June 2016 and Vice President from May 2015 through June 2016. She joined Progressive as a claims representative in 1988 and has served in many key leadership positions during her tenure. Ms. Griffith held several managerial positions in the Claims division before being named Chief Human Resources Officer in 2002. In 2008, she returned to the Claims division as the group president, and prior to being named Personal Lines Chief Operating Officer, she was President of Customer Operations from April 2014 to March 2015.
