Biography:
Thomas A. Pellette has served as the President of Solar Turbines at Caterpillar since 2019. In 2012, the Caterpillar board of directors named Pellette a Caterpillar Vice President and the President of Solar Turbines. In January 2015, Mr. Pellette was named a Caterpillar Group President for Construction Industries and Group President for Energy & Transportation in January 2017. Mr. Pellette resumed the Group President role for Construction Industries in June 2018. Mr. Pellette is a member of the Rice University Engineering Advisory Board and is also a board member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Pellette also serves as Vice Chairman at large of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association.
