Thomas Buberl

Thomas Buberl has been on the Board of Directors for IBM since 2020. He has also served on the boards of Institut de la Finance Durable (since 2022), the World Economic Forum (since 2020), Bocconi University, the Geneva Association, and the Institute of International Finance. Mr. Buberl has served AXA as Chief Executive Officer since April 2016; Chief Executive Officer of Global Life, Savings, and Health from January 2016 to September 2016; Chief Executive Officer of Global Health Business since March 2015; and Chief Executive Officer and Executive Committee Member of AXA Germany since May 2012. Previously he was Chief Executive Officer Switzerland at Zurich Insurance Company from November 2008 to April 2012 and Head of Distribution and Marketing, Switzerland at AXA from November 2005 to October 2008. He began his career as a Manager at The Boston Consulting Group from February 2000 to October 2005.
