Vittorio Colao

Vittorio Colao joined the Board of Directors of Verizon Communications in 2022 and previously served on the Board of Representatives from 2008 to 2013. Mr. Colao has served as the Vice Chair of EMEA for General Atlantic since 2023 and served as a Senior Advisor from 2019 to 2021. From 2015 to 2021, Mr. Colao served as a Non-Executive Director at Unilever and served as the Group Chief Executive Officer of RCS MediaGroup from 2004 to 2006. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Colao served as the Chief Operation Officer of Omnitel and Chief Executive Officer from 1999 to 2004. In 2001, Mr. Colao served as the Reginal Chief Executive Officer of EMEA for Vodafone till 2004. Mr. Colao served as the Chief Executive Officer of Europe for Vodafone from 2006 to 2008 and Group Chief Executive Officer from 2008 to 2018. Mr. Colao served as a Principal at McKinsey & Company from 1986 to 1996. Mr. Colao has served as on the Executive Committee of Universita Bocconi since 2022 and is the Chair of the Advisory Board at Cometa since 2000. Previously, Mr. Colao served as an Advisor at Humanitas university from 2019 to 2021 and Oxford Martin School from 2011 to 2012.
