ALDI which is a discount supermarket chain, was involved in a lawsuit for firing an employee for religious reasons. ALDI does not make donations to religious organizations and does not protect its employees from viewpoint discrimination. ALDI implemented unconscious bias training for all its employees, released gender transition guidelines, and published articles on supporting the LGBTQ+ community. ALDI donated $1 million to the National Urban League. For these reasons, Aldi receives a Medium Risk rating.
