Anedot, an online fundraising and donation software, has stayed true to its pledge to serve customers of all faiths and views, including political campaigns, churches, and other organizations. It does, however, include this note in the job application: “Note: It is important to us to mention that we serve customers across the political spectrum. We believe in serving our customers without bias and understand that this can make people a little uncomfortable at times. If your blood pressure rises at the thought of serving any of the above mentioned groups as part of our non-partisan platform, it may not be a great fit. If it’s not, that is totally okay! We understand and just ask that you let us know.”

Anedot has not promoted ideological agendas or partisan policies. It got swept into the political debate when it became the donation vehicle for The Lincoln Project, but the company was swift to clarify that it serves all customers and is not “Pro-Trump or anti-Trump” (1).
