Summary:
A subsidiary of Visa, Authorize.Net is a payment gateway service provider that allows merchants to accept electronic payments. Authorize.net suddenly canceled a customer for legally selling firearms after years of doing business with the vendor. Its parent company, Visa, has supported the Equality Act, vets vendors for their LGBTQ protections, and financially supports ideological groups hostile to freedom of expression through gift matching.
