GoPro, Inc. protects its employees against viewpoint discrimination and has not publicly canceled business relationships based on views or beliefs. GoPro promotes divisive sex and gender policies. Its Supplier Code of Conduct requires international vendors to include sexual orientation in their nondiscrimination policy. GoPro provides a benefits package for employees which covers travel/lodging costs for an abortion. GoPro's CEO Nicholas Woodman signed the CEO Outdoor Diversity pledge, which includes a commitment to explore DEI education training in the workplace and potentially prioritize diversity over merit in its hiring and leadership composition. GoPro requires its employees to take DEI education and awareness training. GoPro supports DEI within its business practices, employing a DEIB Council that focuses on "workplace inclusion, and diversity in hiring + pipeline" and employing a DEIB Practitioner. GoPro hosted the 2nd annual DEIB Speaker Series Summit a 3-day summit on topics including allyship and gender equity, and it celebrates an annual global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Day. In the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement, GoPro funded three organizations to combat "systemic racism", including the GirlTrek, My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Alliance, and The Southern Center for Human Rights. However, GoPro does not appear to discriminate against charitable organizations based on views or beliefs. For these reasons, GoPro receives a Medium Risk rating.
