HNI Corporation, an office furniture manufacturer, vets vendors for LGBTQ policies. However, it has not publicly terminated business relationships based on views or beliefs. HNI’s CEO has signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion Pledge, which includes a commitment to promote DEI through bias education training in the workplace (1). HNI Corporation has provided inclusive leadership training for all of its managers and unconscious bias training for all of its employees (2). HNI Corporation advocates for LGBTQ Pride through its social media and has promoted its participation in the Quad Cities Pride Festival (3)(4).
Uses corporate funds to advance ideological causes, organizations, or policies hostile to freedom of expression.
