NuVance Health vets vendors for LGBTQ policies but has not publicly terminated business relationships based on views or beliefs. The company discriminates against religious organizations in its charitable giving. It has used its reputation to promote the provision of life-altering gender-related medical treatments to youth under the age of 18 and adherence to the Healthcare Equality Index. NuVance Health has also funded LGBTQ Youth Pride events. However, it does protect its employees against viewpoint discrimination and has not lobbied for ideological organizations. NuVance Health has published pieces outlining medical treatment options for “Gender-Diverse & Transgender Children,” among other related resources on its site (1)(2). The company provides an LGBTQIA+ Interdisciplinary Task Force using practices from the Healthcare Equality Index and publicly celebrates Pride Month on its social media platforms (3).
Uses corporate funds to advance ideological causes, organizations, or policies hostile to freedom of expression.
