NXP has not terminated business relationships due to ideological differences or funded ideological groups hostile to freedom of expression. However, NXP has integrated ESG into its business practices, including mandatory unconscious bias training and preferential hiring practices for certain identity groups. The company opposed various state and local legislation intended to protect parental rights, girls’ sports, bathroom facilities, and gendered spaces. For these reasons, NXP receives a Medium Risk rating.
