By complying with Human Rights Campaign’s controversial demands, Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) increases the risk of dividing employees, alienating customers and harming shareholders. The company covers transgender-related medical costs for its employees. It also uses sex and gender ideology criteria in employee recruitment, vendor selection, marketing, and philanthropic support. RCG uses its reputation, corporate funds, and political influence to support controversial sex and gender ideologies, organizations, and legislation. RCG integrates ESG into all of its business practices and its CEO signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion pledge. The company implemented unconscious bias training for its employees and was recognized as "Gay Travel Approved". RCG opened the first net zero cruise terminal in Galveston and committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050. The company formed an Executive Diversity Council and its CEO is a signatory to the CEO’s for Gun Safety. RCG is a corporate partner of the NGLCC. For these reasons, Royal Caribbean Group receives a High Risk rating.
