Summary:
Toyota has not publicly fired employees or canceled contracts due to political or religious beliefs, although it does vet vendors according to its LGBTQ policies. Toyota does not have viewpoint protections for its employees. Toyota is a sponsor of Out and Equal and supports the Equality Act. Toyota has weaponized its PAC, halting donations to Republican election objectors and donating to the Equality PAC. For these reasons, Toyota receives a "Medium Risk" rating.

Toyota’s donation policy states: “Religious organizations must agree that the funds will be designated only to ongoing secular community service programs that do not propagate a belief in a specific faith and are open to all persons” (1).
