United Talent Agency (UTA) has not terminated business relationships due to views or beliefs. The company does not provide viewpoint protections for its employees. However, UTA covers employee travel for abortion while funding the ACLU and GLAAD. It has also used its reputation to promote LGBTQ agendas and oppose Trump-era immigration policies. For these reasons, UTA receives a Medium Risk rating.

UTA posted a list of various LGBTQ-focused non-profits, which prominently featured GLAAD and GLSEN (1). UTA has also publicly opposed the overturning of Roe v. Wade (2). In 2017, UTA replaced its annual pre-Oscars event with a rally opposing then-President Donald Trump’s immigration policy (3). In 2019, prominent Democratic leader Stacey Abrams began a contract with UTA immediately before the voting legislation push in Georgia (4). UTA also hosted GLAAD for a company-wide discussion in 2019 (5).
Uses corporate funds to advance ideological causes, organizations, or policies hostile to freedom of expression.
