Andrea B. Smith

Andrea B. Smith joined the Board of Directors of HCA Healthcare in 2022. Ms. Smith has served as the Chair of the Alumni Network at Bank of America since 2023. Ms. Smith previously served as the Chief Administrative Office of Bank of America from 2015 to 2023 and Head of Global Human Resources from 2010 to 2015 and Senior Human Resources Executive over Global Banking and Markets, and Global Commercial Banking from 2008 to 2010 and Global Corporate & Investment Banking and Corporate Planning and Strategy from 2003 to 2007 and Global Risk Management from 2002 to 2003. From 1999 to 2002, Ms. Smith served as the Compensation Executive for Consumer & Commercial Banking at Bank of America and Staffing Executive for Consumer & Commercial Banking from 1994 to 1999 and started her career at Bank of America as a Management Associate Programmer from 1988 to 1994. She holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Southern Methodist University.
