Andy Saperstein has been the Co-President of Morgan Stanley since June 2021 and the Head of Wealth Management since April 2019. Prior to this he was Co-Head of Wealth Management from January 2016 to April 2019; Co-Chief Operating Officer of Institutional Securities from March 2015 to January 2016; and Head of Wealth Management Investment Products and Services from June 2012 to March 2015. He served as Head of National Sales of Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management Group from December 2007 to May 2009 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer of National Sales. Prior to his tenure at Morgan Stanley Mr. Saperstein worked for Merrill Lynch from 2001 to 2006 in numerous leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer of the Direct Division and First Vice President of Merrill Lynch. Prior to this he was a partner in the Financial Institutions Group of McKinsey & Company. Mr. Saperstein is on the Advisory Council for Teen Cancer America and serves on the Board of Directors for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and the Child Mind Institute. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Harvard Law School. Mr. Saperstein has contributed $4,500 to Republican causes and $10,700 to Democrat causes.
