Biography:

Carla A. Harris joined the Board of Directors at MetLife in 2022, Cummins in 2021, and Walmart in 2017. Ms. Harris has served as a Senior Client Advisor at Morgan Stanley since 2021 and Vice Chairman, Managing Director, Senior Client Advisor and Head of Multicultural Client asset management from 2012 to 2021 and in other senior merger, acquisition, and asset management from 1987 to 2012. In August 2013, President Barack Obama appointed Carla to serve as chair of the National Women’s Business Council. Ms. Harris is on the board at the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, the Morgan Stanley Foundation, the Harvard University Board of Overseers, Seize Every Opportunity, the Cabrini Foundation and Sesame Street Workshop
