Darren Palmer

Darren Palmer became the Vice President of Electric Vehicle Programs for Ford Motors in March 2022. Before this appointment, he was the General Manager of Battery Electric Vehicles from February 2021 to March 2022 and served as the Global Product Development Director for Ford and Lincoln Battery Electric Vehicles on Team Edison from November 2017 to February 2021. He was the Global Vehicle Line Director for B Segment Vehicles from June 2014 to March 2017, European Vehicle Line Director and Assistant Global Vehicle Line Director of Large Cars from April 2013 to June 2014, and Director of Global Programs Quality from July 2012 to April 2013. Palmer also held the position of Director of Product Development Quality from August 2011 to July 2012, and was Director of Product Development for Ford’s Russian partner Sollers in Moscow from April 2011 to August 2011. Additionally, he was the Global Product Development Launch Leader and Chief Program Engineer of the New Ford Focus from July 2010 to April 2011, Global Program Manager for C Cars from November 2007 to July 2010, and has been in various engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and project management roles at Ford Motor Company from 1990 to 2009.
