David M. Cordani

David M. Cordani has served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Cigna Group since 2009 and has served on the Board of Directors at General Mills since 2014. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Cordani served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Cigna from 2008 to 2009. From 1991 to 2008, Mr. Cordani served in multiple Regional Leadership positions at Cigna including President of CIGNA Healthcare, President of Health Segments, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CIGNA HealthCare. Prior to joining Cigna, Mr. Cordani worked as a Senior Auditor at Cooper & Lybrand from 1988 to 1991. Mr. Cordani founded The David and Sherry Cordani Family Foundation in 2012 and had previously served as the Chairman of the Board at America’s Health Insurance Plans from 2019 to 2020 and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Korea Business Council and India Business Council from 2015 to 2020 and was the Charter of the Board at ChildObesity180 from 2009 to 2018. Mr. Cordani has been a member of the Business Round Table since 2010.
