Biography:

Brendan Nelson became President of Global Services and Senior Vice President of Boeing in January 2023. Prior to that, he was the President of Boeing Australia and Chairman of the Board for Boeing Australia Holdings from February 2020 to January 2023, the Director of the Australian War Memorial for the Australian Public Service from 2012 to 2020, and the Australian Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, the European Union, and NATO from 2009 to 2012. Dr. Nelson also served on the Australian Parliament from 1996 to 2009 most notably as the Australian Liberal Party Leader from 2007 to 2008, the Australian Defense Minister from 2006 to 2007, and the Minister for Education, Science and Training from 2001 to 2006. Previously, Dr. Nelson was the Federal President of the Australian Medical Association in 1993, the President of the Tasmanian Branch from 1990 to 1993 and became a member of the AMA in 1988. Dr. Nelson began his career as a Medical Practitioner where he worked from 1985 to 1995.
