Biography:
Eric Clurfain has served as the MetLife President of Latin America since 2021. Prior to this position, Mr. Clurfain served as the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Japan from 2019 to 2021 and Head of EMEA from 2017 to 2019 and Reginal Head of Central & Eastern Europe from 2012 to 2017 and Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Turkey from 2009 to 2012. From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Clurfain served as the Deputy Head of Credit Life Worldwide at AIG and was Chief Executive Global Solutions at UnitedHealth Group from 2005 to 2007. Mr. Clurfain served as Director of Credit Life at AIG Mexico from 2002 to 2005 and Reginal Supervisor of AIG Latin America from 2000 to 2002 and Management Associate from 1998 to 2000.
