Hugh F. Johnston
Hugh Johnston has served as the Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of PepsiCo since 2015 and 2010 respectively. Mr. Johnston has also served on the Board of Directors at Microsoft since 2017 and HCA Healthcare since 2021. Prior to his current role at PepsiCo, Mr. Johnston served as President of Pepsi-Cola North America from 2007 to 2010 and Executive Vice President of Global Operations at PepsiCo from 2006 to 2007 and Senior Vice President of Transformation from 2005 to 2006 and Senior Vice President of and Chief Financial Offer of PepsiCo Beverage and Foods from 2003 to 2005 and Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions from 2002 to 2003 and on various merger & acquisition, finance, and strategy roles from 1987 to 1999. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Johnston served as the Vice President of Retail at Merk & Co., Inc. Mr. Johnston has served on the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Advisory Council since 2020, a member of the Peterson Institute for International Economics Advisory Council since 2013, a founding member of the CNBC Global CFO Council since 2013, and a member of the University of Chicago CFO Forum Advisory Council since 2011. Mr. Johnston previously served on the board at the American Beverage Association.
