Jody Freeman
Jody Freeman has joined the Board of Directors at ConocoPhillips in 2012 and Norges Bank Investment Management’s Climate Advisory Board in 2023. Ms. Freeman has been a Professor of Law at Harvard Law School since 2005 and has served as Founder & Director of the Environmental & Energy Law Program since 2006. Ms. Freeman previously served on the Advisory Council of the Electric Research Institute from 2018 to 2021 and a member of the Administrative Conference of the United States from 2011 to 2014 and Was an Independent Consultant for President Obama’s Commission on the BP Oil Spill in 2010 and was Counselor for Energy and Climate Change at the White House from 2009 to 2010. From 2006 to 2009, Ms. Freeman served as a Steering Committee Member at the Harvard University Center for the Environment and the Harvard University Project on International Climate Agreements. Ms. Freeman served as the Vice Chair of the American Bar Association from 2000 to 2006 and was a Professor of Law at UCLA from 2000 to 2005.
