Biography:

Michel A. Khalaf has served as the President, Chief Executive President, and Director of MetLife since 2019. Prior to these appointment, Mr. Khalaf served as the President of U.S. Business and EMEA segment at MetLife from 2017 to 2019 and President of EMEA segment from 2011 to 2017 and Executive Vice President of Middle East, Africa and South Asia Region from 2010 to 2011. Prior to MetLife, Mr. Khalaf served as the Reiginal president of MEASA at American Life Insurance Company from 2008 to 2010 and Deputy President and Chief Operating Officer of AIGPhilamlife, Philippines from 2006 to 2008 and Reginal Senior Vice President of AIG-Amplico Life, Poland from 2001 to 2006 and General Manager of Alico Egypt from 1996 to 2001 and Chief Operating Officer of Alico Unionvita, Italy from 1994 to 1996 and Deputy General Manager of Alico Bahamas from 1992 to 1994 and Regional Investment Manager of Alico Paris from 1990 to 1992. Mr. Khalaf also serves on the Board of Directors at the U.S.-China Business Council, Geneva Association, and the Partnership for New York City.
