Mohamad Ali

Mohamad Ali joined IBM as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of IBM Consulting in September 2023. He has served on the Board of Directors for Henry Schein since February 2021 and iRobot since August 2015. Previously he was Chief Executive Officer at IDG from August 2019 to June 2023, Chief Executive Officer at Carbonite from December 2014 to July 2019, Chief Strategy Officer at Hewlett Packard from August 2012 to December 2014, and President of Avaya Global Services from July 2009 to April 2012. Mr. Ali began his career at IBM, serving as Vice President and Senior State Executive from January 1996 to July 2009. He has previously been on the Board of Directors for City National Bank (June 2013 to November 2015) and the Ember Corporation (2009 to June 2012). Mr. Ali serves on the boards of the nonprofit organizations Oxfam America (since December 2013) and the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council (since 2007).
