Biography:
Richard A. Hammett serves as the President of the Atlantic Group of Nashville, Tennessee-based HCA Healthcare. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Hammett served as the President of HCA Healthcare North Florida Division. Prior to joining the North Florida Division, Hammett served as CEO of HCA Healthcare’s Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado, having originally moved to the Denver area to become the CEO of HCA Healthcare’s Medical Center of Aurora from 2012 to 2015. Hammett began his career at HCA Healthcare with St. David’s Healthcare in Austin, Texas from 2005 to 2007 eventually serving as Chief Operating Officer at St. David’s Medical Center from 2007 to 2012.
