Biography:

Ryan M. Lance has served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ConocoPhillips since 2012 and a member of the Board of Directors at Freeport-McMoRan, Inc since 2021. From 2009 to 20012, Mr. Lance served as the Senior Vice President of Exploration and Production International at ConocoPhillips and President of Exploration and Production in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East from 2007 to 2009 and Senior Vice President of Technology in 2007 and Senior Vice President of Technology and Major Projects from 2006 to 2007 and President of Downstream Strategy, Integration, and Special Businesses from 2005 to 2006 and President of Asia Pacific Exploration and Production from 2003 to 2005 and Vice President of Lower 48 from 2002 to 2003. Prior to ConocoPhillips, Mr. Lance served as the General Manager of the Lower 48 at Phillips from 2001 till 2002 when the company merged with Conoco to form ConocoPhillips. From 1984 to 2001, Mr. Lance serves in various leadership positions at AROC. Mr. Lance is a Member of the Board of Directors at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, a Trustee at the George H.W. Bush Library Foundation and PGA Reach, a member of the Agenda Committee at the National Petroleum Council, and a member of the University of Houston’s Energy Advisory Board.
