Sandra E. Peterson
Sandra E. Peterson joined the Microsoft board in December 2015. Peterson is an operating partner at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a private investment firm. She works closely with the firm’s investment team and corporate leaders to source and evaluate transactions as well as support portfolio company management teams as they execute their value creation plans. Previously, Peterson served as group worldwide chairman for Johnson & Johnson, where her portfolio included medical devices, consumer, global operating infrastructure, technology, supply chain and key strategic initiatives. Peterson had an extensive global career in healthcare, life sciences, consumer goods and consulting. Peterson holds a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.P.A. from Princeton University.
