Wern-Yuen Tan

Wern-Yuen Tan has served as the Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo Asia Pacific, Australia, China since 2020. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Tan served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Walmart China from 2017 to 2020 Managing Director of McDonald’s Taiwan from 2011 to 2016 and Principal at The Boston Consulting Group from 2006 to 2011. Mr. Tan severed as Senior Assistant Director at the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore from 2005 to 2006 and as a Precinct Commander in the Singapore Police Force from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Tan has served on the Board of Directors at Calbee, Inc. since 2022 and Raffles Medical Group and since 2021 and a member of the Singapore Economic Development Board since 2021 and a member of the International Advisory Council of ISEG since 2020 and Vice Chairman of CHINASHOP China Chain Store & Franchise Association since 2017. Mr. Tan previously served on the bord of the Walmart Foundation from 2017 to 2020 and the Ronald McDonald House Charities from 2013 to 2016.
