Minecraft’s “Hive of Harmony” Targets Kids with Activist Messaging

1792 Exchange Executive Vice President Greg Scott spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation about “Hive of Harmony,” a free Minecraft Marketplace add-on released to coincide with Stockholm Pride. The download gives players rainbow-themed hives that grow twice as fast, an “Ally Queen” bee, and multiple pride flag variants, including the transgender flag.

Ideological propaganda has no place in games targeted at children. Unfortunately, many companies have not gotten the message that Americans are fed up with corporate activism on behalf of radical and dangerous causes. What’s even worse than the messaging itself is that online gaming is the new playground for predators, and with this new feature, Minecraft is making it easier to identify and target the most vulnerable children. As a company infamous for its viruses, Microsoft should be more sensitive to what it is purposely infecting its products with. Every parent should know just what these companies are up to and be vigilant about what their children are doing with their screen time.

According to February 2026 data from the Human Rights Campaign, 550+ companies provide health insurance coverage for transgender medical interventions, including puberty blockers, hormones, and surgical procedures, to covered minor dependents through their employee health plans. HRC reports this information after a corporate representative uses an online HRC portal to upload, or affirm a previously uploaded copy of, the company’s Summary Plan Description (SPD) or Summary of Material Modification (SMM) that explicitly shows coverage for transition-related care. The representative must also upload a copy of the company’s applicable clinical guidelines (medical policy). These companies range from major financial institutions and law firms to retailers, insurers, and tech giants. Shareholders, customers, parents, and employees deserve to know where their companies stand. 1792 Exchange calls on every company on this list to adopt clear protections for minor dependents in their healthcare plans and get back to business. Bowyer Research Cites 1792 Exchange Data in SPLC Shareholder Engagement Campaign

Bowyer Research used 1792 Exchange’s research to identify and engage 150+ companies connected to the SPLC, who donated directly through associated corporate foundations or probable indirect support through Benevity. Companies that donate to the SPLC, or have in recent years, need to give an account for how they plan on avoiding support to politicized organizations in the future. Companies that outsource their charitable policies to third-party providers like Benevity need to make clear whether they’re relying on SPLC diagnostics that Benevity offers as a screen. Our friends and co-laborers at 1792 Exchange identified a list of more than 150 companies connected to the SPLC, either via Benevity usage or direct donations to the SPLC. “It’s interesting to see activist groups openly confess to exploiting sexual and gender identity to get ahead in the workplace. But even more interesting is that the most radical ideologues are now admitting that the spell is wearing off,” 1792 Exchange executive vice president Greg Scott told the DCNF. The 1792 Exchange is a nonprofit whose mission “is ‘helping businesses get back to business’ by influencing American companies to advance principles including free speech, freedom of religion, and free enterprise,” according to its website. “Many companies have seen that taking sides in political battles presents few benefits and carries intolerable reputational risk. It’s not speculation or mere vibing to say that businesses are increasingly getting back to business and leaving the culture wars behind,” Scott said. Scott told the DCNF that 65% of Fortune 500 companies stopped participating in the Human Rights Campaign (HRC)’s Corporate Equality Index survey in one year. He also said that HRC lost half its annual dinner sponsors in one year. “These are just two indicators that many businesses are renewing their commitment to serve all their customers, shareholders, and employees, rather than bow the knee to special interests,” Scott said. Red Flag Case Studies Highlight Corporations Putting Shareholder Value at Risk

What are some of the red flags we focus on? Certainly, stock price performance matters a great deal because, among other things, it can alert shareholders and others to a corporation that is in the process of embodying “go woke, go broke.” For example, as of July 9, 2026, has apparently underperformed the S&P 500 the past five years, three years, year, and year-to-date, to the tune of roughly 115 percentage points combined. (On the other hand, it is important to note that outperforming an index like the S&P 500 doesn’t necessarily guarantee all is well because a corporation could still be leaving profit on the table pursuing non-pecuniary and politicized agendas.) Another source of “red flag” information we rely on is the 1792 Exchange’s Corporate Bias Ratings and Board Bias Report. In the case of Disney, we get a “high risk” rating, including for concerns related to the promotion of radical gender ideology as well as wasteful and destructive climate commitments. Some advocates say investors shouldn’t underestimate shareholders’ ability to sway a company’s views. Dustin DeVito is the director of research at the nonprofit 1792 Exchange, which encourages corporations to promote free speech, freedom of religion, and free enterprise. He said company executives sometimes aren’t aware of what’s happening down in the trenches of their businesses’ day-to-day operations, and all they may need is for shareholders to bring a concern to their attention. “When issues are being voted on at a company’s annual general meeting, if you have shares in a company, you have a vote,” explained DeVito. “If you have shares, you have the ability to get in touch with investor relations … [and] have those conversations with the executives.” DeVito also said that CSAM is a new part of the social discussion—one that companies don’t have decades of experience dealing with. “People have not really been taking this seriously or talking about it in a comprehensive way until very recently,” DeVito said. “So just based on just where these companies have been over the past few years, I think there really is a chance for people to have direct engagements with the executives.” The full article can be found …
