Biography:
John H. Tyson has been Chairman of the Board at Tyson Foods since 1998 after first joining the Board in 1984. Previously he served Tyson Foods as Chief Executive Officer from 1999 to 2006 and President of Beef and Pork Division from 1993 to 1998. He began his career at Tyson Foods in 1975, holding various manager roles such as North Carolina complex manager, Vice President of Marketing for Corporate Accounts, Purchasing Manager, and Retail-Sales Manager for Northeast Region until 1993. He serves on the Board of Directors for Tyson Center for Faith-Friendly Workplace at the University of Arkansas and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
