Chuck Gray
Chuck Gray became the Vice President of Vehicle Hardware Engineering for Ford Motor Company in October 2022. In October 2022, Mr. Gray was appointed by Secretary Gina Raimondo to be on the Industry Advisory Committee for the U.S. Department of Commerce. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Kettering University, a position he has held since November 2020. Before that he was Vice President of Electric Vehicle Technologies from April 2022 to October 2022, Vice President of Vehicle Embedded Software and Connectivity from December 2020 to April 2022, Vice President of Vehicle Components and Systems Engineering from December 2019 to April 2022, Director of Electrical and Electronics Systems Engineering from April 2016 to December 2019, Director of Transmission and Driveline Engineering from December 2013 to March 2016, Assistant Vehicle Line Director from November 2012 to December 2013, Chief Engineer of Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Core Engineering from April 2010 to October 2012, Chief Engineer of Powertrain Installations from April 2008 to April 2010, and Product Developer from December 1991 to April 2008. Prior to his time at Ford, Mr. Gray was a Project Engineer at Defiance Testing and Engineering from 1988 to 1991. Mr. Gray began his career as an Engineer at Borg Warner Automotive from September 1982 to June 1988.
