James Farley Jr. became Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company in October 2020. Before that, he was Chief Operating Officer from March 2020 to September 2020, President of New Business, Technology, and Strategy from 2019 to 2020, Executive Vice President and President of Global Markets from May 2017 to April 2019, Executive Vice President and President of Ford Europe, Middle East, and Africa from January 2015 to May 2017, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, Sales, and Service from September 2014 to December 2014, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, Sales, Service, and Lincoln from December 2012 to August 2014, Global Vice President of Global Marketing of Sales and Service from August 2010 to November 2012, as Global Vice President of Global Marketing and Carrier Sense Multiple Access from September 2009 to July 2010, and as Global Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Communications from October 2007 too August 2009. Mr. Farley Jr. currently serves on the Boards for Harley-Davidson, the U.S. China Business Council, and is the Co-Chair of the Future of Mobility Commission. He previously served as the Group Vice President and General Manager of Lexus before joining Ford in 2007.

William Clary Ford Jr. became the Executive Chair of Ford Motor in January 1999. He has been on the Board of Directors for the company since 1988 and has served in a variety of executive roles at Ford since his career began in October 1979. Mr. Ford also works as a Partner at Fontinalis Partners LLC and is Vice Chair of the Board for the Detroit Lions. He also serves on the Board for the Detroit Lions charities. Mr. Ford has previous corporate experience as a Board Member at eBay from 2005 to 2015 and as the Chairman of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce. He previously served as a Board Member for the Ford Motor Company Fund, the Henry Ford Health System, the Business Leaders for Michigan, and the Detroit Economic Club.
