Biography:

David Viniar joined the Board of Directors at Goldman Sachs in 2013 after his retirement as Chief Financial Officer of the company from 1999 to 2013. From 2002 to 2013 Mr. Viniar also served as the Head of Operations, Technology, Finance, and Services Division at Goldman Sachs and Head of the Finance Division and Co-Head of Credit Risk Management and Advisory and Firmwide Risk from 2001 to 2002 and Co-Head of Operations, Finance and Resources from 1999 to 2001. Prior to his executive roles at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Viniar became a Partner at Goldman Sachs in 1992, and Managing Directo in 1996. Mr. Viniar serves as Co-Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Garden of Dreams Foundation and is a former Trustee and Union College.
