Edward G. Galante

Edward G. Galante has served on the Board of Directors at Marathon Petroleum since 2018. Mr. Galante has also served on the Board of Directors at Linde PLC since 2018, Celanese Corp. since 2013, Clean Harbor, Inc. since 2010. Previously, Mr. Galante served on the Board of Directors at Andeavor from 2016 to 2018 and Praxair from 2007 to 2018. Mr. Galante had a 30 plus year career at ExxonMobil Corporation starting in 1972. From 1988 to 1992, Mr. Galante served as the Manager of Exxon’s Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Refinery and Chief Executive and General Manager of Esso Caribbean and Central America from 1992 to 1995 and Executive Assistant to the Chairman of Exxon Corporation from 1995 to 1997 and Chairman and Managing Director of Esso Thailand from 1997 to 1999 and Executive Vice President of ExxonMobil Chemical Company from 1999 to 2001 and Senior Vice President and Management Committee Member of ExxonMobil Corporation from 2001 to 2006. Mr. Galante currently serves on the Board of Directors at United Way Foundation of Metropolitan Dallas and Artis-Naples, and is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Northeastern University.
