Ellen de Brabander

Ellen de Brabander, Ph.D, joined ADM’s Board of Directors in 2023, and serves on the audit and sustainability and corporate responsibility committees. De Brabander has also been the Executive Vice President of R&D and Innovation at Elanco since 2021 as well as the lid Raad van Toezicht for Open Universiteit since 2016.

Prior to her current roles, de Brabander was a Treasurer and Board Member of ISLI North America from January 2019-January 2020, a Board Member for the New York Academy of Sciences from 2018-2023, the Interim CEO for EIT Food from July 2016-February 2018, Senior Vice President Research and Development for PepsiCo from 2014-2021, lid Raad van Toezicht for Hogere Agrarische School Den Bosch from 2012-2022, Chief Technology Officer for Merial (now Boehringer Ingelheim) from 2008-2014, Global Head of Research and Development and Member of the Executive Committee for Intervet (now Merck Animal Health) from 2006-2008 and Chief Technology Officer for DSM from 1991-2006.
