Biography:
Erol R. Akdamar has served as the President of the American Group at HCA Healthcare since 2023. Mr. Akdamar previously served as the President of Medical City Healthcare from 2013 to 2022 and President and Chief Executive Officer of Medical City Dallas Hospital and Medical City Children’s Hospital from 2010 to 2013. From 2004 to 2010, Mr. Akdamar served as the Chief Executive Officer of St. David’s South Austin Hospital and Chief Operating Officer of Tulane University Hospital and Clinic from 2000 to 2004 and Chief operating Officer of Redmond Regional Medical Center from 1997 to 2000. Mr. Akdamar serves as the Board Chair of the Texas Hospital Association since 2022.
