Biography:
Gokul Laroia became the sole Chief Executive Officer of Asia in 2021 at Morgan Stanley. He was appointed Co-Head of Global Equities in 2018. Prior to this he was Co-Chief Executive Officer of Asia from May 2014-2021; Head of Institutional Equity, Asia from April 2011 to May 2014; Co-Head of Asia Pacific Investment Banking from June 2009 to March 2011; and Head of Regional Global Capital Markets from November 2004 to June 2009. Mr. Laroia first joined Morgan Stanley in 1995.
