Hironori Kamezawa
Hironori Kamezawa joined Morgan Stanley’s Board of Directors in May 2021. He is currently the President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. (MUFJ), a position he has held since April 2020. He was Chair of Global Open Network Japan, Inc. from April 2020 to 2022, and has been on the Board of Directors for MUFG since June 2019. From April 2019 to March 2020 Mr. Kamezawa was Deputy President of MUFG and The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. (MUFG Bank), and from April 2019 to March 2020 he was the Chief Operating Officer. He was Chief Digital Transformation Officer for MUFG and MUFG Bank from May 2017 to March 2020. Mr. Kamezawa served as a Representative of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Global Open Network Inc. from December 2018 to March 2020. Prior to this he was Senior Managing Corporate Executive at MUFG and MUFG Bank from May 2018 to December 2018. Mr. Kamezawa became a member of the Board of Directors for MUFG Bank in June 2017. Prior to this he was Chief Information Officer from May 2017 to March 2019 and Chief Date Officer of MUFG from May 2016 to May 2017. He held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer for the Americas for both MUFG and MUFG Bank from May 2014 to May 2017. Before this, he was the Head of Global Markets Planning Division at MUFG and MUFG Bank from May 2012 to May 2014. Previously he was the Head of Credit Policy & Planning Division of MUFG and MUFG Bank from June 2010 to May 2012. Mr. Kamezawa joined MUFG Bank in April 1986.
