James H. Hinton

James Hinton became a Board Member of McKesson in January 2022. He also works as an Operating Partner for Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, a position he has held since January 2022. Before that, Mr. Hinton was Chief Executive Officer of Baylor Scott & White Health from 2017 to January 2022. He began his career at Presbyterian Healthcare Services for 33 years, as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1995 to 2016, as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1992 to 1995, as Executive Director of Presbyterian Physician Resources 1987 to 1992, as Director of Business Development from 1985 to 1987, and as an Assistant Administrator from 1983 to 1985.
