John Lawler

John Lawler became Chief Financial Officer at Ford Motor Company in October 2020. In February 2023, he was appointed by President Joe Biden to serve on the President’s Export Council, advising him on international trade. Mr. Lawler also serves as the Interim Chief Supply Chain Officer, on the Board of Know College since October 2017, and on the Board for Ford Credit since August 2016. Before his current roles at Ford, Mr. Lawler was the Chief Executive Officer of Ford Autonomous Vehicles LLC and Vice President of Mobility Partnerships from December 2019 to October 2020, Vice President of Strategy, Business Development, and Global Data and Analytics from July 2018 to December 2019, Vice President, Controller, and Chief Financial Officer of Global Markets from June 2016 to June 2018, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor in China from November 2012 to May 2016, Chief Financial Officer of Asia Pacific and Africa from May 2010 to October 2012, Controller overseeing North America Marketing and Sales Operations from January 2007 to May 2010, Controller overseeing North America Product Programs from January 2005 to December 2006, Controller overseeing Pricing and Marketing Analysis for Ford and Lincoln Mercury from January 2003 to December 2004, Pricing Manager for Ford Division from August 2001 to December 2002, Controller overseeing Family and Specialty Segments from August 1998 to July 2001, Finance Manager of the Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute, and as a Finance Analyst and Supervisor of various positions from May 1990 to September 1996. From December 2012 to June 2016, Mr. Lawler served as Vice Chairman of the Board for the Changan Ford Automobile Corporation and for Jiangling Motors Corporation.
