Jon M. Foster

Jon M. Foster has served as the Executive vice President and Chief Operating Officer at HCA Healthcare since 2023. Prior to this position, Mr. Foster served as the President of HCA Healthcare’s American Group from 2011 to 2023. Prior to 2011, Foster served as President and CEO of Austin, Texas-based St. David’s HealthCare, a seven-hospital healthcare system with 60 locations throughout the central Texas region. Before coming to HCA Healthcare, Foster served as the Executive Vice President of operations for the Baptist Health System of East Tennessee. His career began in 1986 at the Methodist Healthcare System in Houston, Texas, where he served until 1991.
