Michael A. Pizzi

Michael A. Pizzi has been the Head of Technology at Morgan Stanley since January 2023. He has been the Head of U.S Banks since June 2021, and Managing Director since October 2020. Prior to this he served as Head of Digital Direct and Co-Head of Equity Administration from October 2020 to June 2021. Before his time at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Pizzi was Chief Executive Officer of E*TRADE from August 2019 to October 2020; Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to August 2019; Chief Risk Officer from 2014 to 2015; and Chief Risk Officer of E*TRADE Financial from 2008 to 2014. He first joined E*TRADE in 2003 and served in a variety of leadership positions before joining the executive team. Before his time at E*TRADE Mr. Pizzi worked in Asset/Liability Management at Lehman Brothers and at First Maryland Bank. Prior to this he did Capital Markets Research for the Federal Reserve Board.
