Biography:

Dr. Omar Ishrak has been on the Board of Directors for Intel Corporation since March 2017, serving as Chairman from January 2020 to January 2023. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Allurion Technologies Inc. since February 2020; Biofourmis since January 2022; Insightech since January 2022; Compute Health Acquisition Corporation since January 2021; Amgen since July 2021; and Cleveland Clinic since August 2020. Prior to this Dr. Ishrak was Chairman of the Board for Medtronic from June 2011 to December 2020 and Chief Executive Officer from June 2011 to April 2020. Before his time at Medtronic he served GE Healthcare as President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Healthcare Systems from 2009 to 2011; President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Healthcare Clinical Systems from 2005 to 2008; and President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Healthcare Ultrasounds and BMD from 1995 to 2004. Prior to his time at GE, Dr. Ishrak held leadership positions at Diasonics/Vingmed and various product development and engineering positions at Philips Ultrasound.
