Stephen B. Burke

Stephen B. Burke became a Director at Berkshire Hathaway in 2009 and has also served on JPMorgan Chase’s Board as a Director since 2004. In 2019, Mr. burke founded Madison Valley Partners, a venture capital firm. Mr. Burke was a Chairman of NBCUniversal from 2011 to 2020. From 2011 to 2019, Mr. Burke was the Chief Executive Officer and President of NBCUniversal, and Chief Operating Officer of Comcast from 2004 to 2011 and President of Comcast Cable Communications from 1998 to 2010. Prior to his time at Comcast, Mr. Burke served as the President of ABC Broadcasting, joining The Walt Disney Company in 1986. From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Burke was the Chief Operating Officer of Euro Disney.
